Introduction
The content provided in this section is intended for users who wish to create a partnership with Olivela using an O Shopify + LB Shopify Connector integration. With this integration, users will establish an inventory connection via the Olivela Custom Shopify Inventory App, and fulfill orders in their Shopify via the Logicbroker-Shopify Connector App (which pushes Olivela orders directly into the user’s interface).

Things to Note
- Olivela does not support invoices, returns or backorders.
- You will have access to both stage and production portals but be sure to do all testing in the stage portal. We will notify you when it is time to use the production portal to process live orders.

Integration Method Overview
Shopify integrations are a great way to direct live orders to one central location. Onboarding is a little more involved than Portal integrations because you will need to work with Logicbroker to establish your Shopify connection. You can always start off as a portal integration and transition to a Shopify integration once you are live.
- Order Processing: Orders will appear in Logicbroker and will be sent into the supplier’s Shopify account. Suppliers create acknowledgments (acceptance or cancellations) in the portal and will ship orders directly from Shopify.
- Inventory: Inventory is managed directly with Olivela using the Custom Shopify Inventory App, no inventory is uploaded to Logicbroker.
- Packing Slips: Suppliers can either download packing slips directly from Logicbroker – this can also be done in bulk or they can download Logicbroker-generated packing slips as a PDF off the order in Shopify (each order will have the packing slip as a PDF link in the notes section).

Onboarding
This section will walk you through all the steps you need to complete for a successful go-live.
Step 1: Create a New Custom App in Shopify
* This step is to be completed by your Shopify Store Admin
Action:
1. In Shopify, navigate to Apps > Develop Apps.
2. Create an App and App Name (Recommended app title is Olivela-Logicbroker Orders).
3. Configure Admin API Scopes.
4. Turn on all below permissions and save.
5. Copy the API Key and Secret Key. You will paste this information into your email response in the next step.
6. Install App and reveal your Admin API access token. Once revealed, you will need to copy this token and paste it into your email response in Step 2. ** PLEASE SAVE this token once revealed as it will only reveal once. This code will be locked after it is first revealed **
Step 2: Share Your Shopify Information with Logicbroker
Once you have created your new custom app “Olivela-Logicbroker Orders”, send the following Shopify information in the active onboarding thread so Logicbroker can set up your account
Action:
- Provide the following information in the ongoing thread you have with Logicbroker and Olivela:
- Shopify Store Name: *subdomain of your “.myshopify” store
Example:
See URL while logged into your Shopify account: https://example-store.myshopify.com/admin/apps
Shopify Store Name = example-store.myshopify.com - API Key: *copied in Step 1
- API Secret Key: *copied in Step 1
- Admin API Access Token: *copied in Step 1
- Shopify Store Name: *subdomain of your “.myshopify” store
* If you need to start a new thread, be sure to include the following contacts: marthaluz@olivela.com, dropship@olivela.com and support@logicbroker.com
Step 3: Complete Account Set-up + Load Test Inventory
* Olivela and Logicbroker to complete this step
Logicbroker will complete your account setup using the information from Step 2.
Olivela will upload a test inventory template into the stage portal. This test inventory is created through the Olivela Custom Shopify Inventory App connection so that you can complete the test cases in Step 6 using the live SKUs in your Shopify. *Note: In order to continue with the O Shopify + LB Shopify Connector integration, all items in your Shopify inventory must have ShopifySKUs. Logicbroker will not be able to send orders through to your Shopify interface without these values filled in.
No action required -- just sit tight and Olivela / Logicbroker will confirm completion of Step 3 within 24 hours!
Step 4: Create a Logicbroker Account
Once Logicbroker and Olivela complete Step 3, we will send you an invitation via email. Subject Line: "Welcome to Logicbroker!". This invitation will allow you to create a login and password to the Logicbroker platform. Don’t see the email? Check your junk mail folder & add do-not-reply@logicbroker.com to your contacts list.
Action:
- Accept the invitation within 7 days and create your Logicbroker account. The link expires after 7 days so if you miss the window, let us know and we can send out a new invitation.
- Once you have created an account, you send out invitations to anyone else on your team. To see how, see Managing Users
Step 5: Review the LMS (Learning Management System)
Learn Logicbroker is our Learning Management System which offers learning materials to help you become more comfortable with your dropship experience. Here, we offer an extensive library of videos, photos, and written information to help acclimate you to Logicbroker and help you succeed with your integration with Olivela. Only registered users can access Learn Logicbroker so make sure you complete Step 1 before attempting to log in.
Action: Logicbroker will assign you the Portal Supplier Onboarding Path which includes the following modules:
- Welcome to Learn Logicbroker
- Getting Started with Logicbroker: The Portal
- Supplier Overview
If you lose the email or want to have another member of your team walk through the path, you can access and share the link here: Portal Supplier Onboarding Path
To access Learn Logicbroker, go here: Learn Logicbroker
* Note that this content is general information for all suppliers - some information is not Olivela specific such as information on returns and invoices and some information is not relevant to suppliers integrating with Shopify such as creating shipments and manually uploading Excel/CSV inventory into Logicbroker. Once you walk through the path, you will continue on to Olivela/O Shopify tasks noted below *
Step 6: Complete Test Cases
After you have reviewed the LMS, you will move onto testing where you will complete 3 test cases.
Action:
- In stage portal, go to Testing > Olivela: View > click on Create a New Test Order for each of the 3 test cases
- Confirm the orders reach your Shopify account (this may take up to 20 minutes)
- Process the 3 test cases:
- Test Case 1: Fulfill (Single Line)
- In the portal, create an acknowledgment accepting the order (be sure to include an Estimated Ship Date)
- In Shopify, create a shipment (without physically shipping) for the order by creating a shipping label. *you can void this shipping label right after to avoid any charges
- Confirm a shipment document is automatically created in Logicbroker for the first order (this may take up to 20 minutes)
- Test Case 2: Fulfill (Multi Line)
- In the portal, create an acknowledgment accepting the order (be sure to include an Estimated Ship Date)
- In Shopify, create a shipment (without physically shipping) for the order by creating a shipping label. *you can void this shipping label right after to avoid any charges
- Confirm a shipment document is automatically created in Logicbroker for the first order (this may take up to 20 minutes)
- Test Case 3: Cancel * this is the only test case you fully will process in the portal
- In the web portal, create an acknowledgment to cancel the order. Be sure to change the Quantity Cancelled for each line item so that it matches the Quantity Ordered, and enter in the Change Reason: Out of Stock for each under Acknowledgement Items.
- Test Case 1: Fulfill (Single Line)
- You will only need to use the following change reasons once you are live:
- Out of Stock
- Discontinued Item
- Cannot fulfill in time
* It is important that you create the label in Shopify instead of manually fulfilling the order. Fulfillments will not successfully create shipments in Logicbroker. If in production, you need to manually fulfill an order in Shopify, you will need to also manually create a shipment in Logicbroker since the information will not flow through *
Ready to go live!
When you successfully complete the test cases in your Shopify interface, you are nearly ready to go live!
Olivela will reach out with next steps to launch via email.
From this point on, you will use the production portal only. * You will not need to send any information to the stage portal anymore, except for special cases.
